How can a thrown egg fly 3 meters and not break?

Answer:  Lot of explanations in my head..here goes.In increasing order of stupidity.
1. It flew more than 3 meters, and broke after.
2. Hard-boiled egg

3. Thrown 1.5 metres up and then caught. Total distance 3 meters.
4. Bubble wrapped
5. Egg was confident, not easy to break by throwing around.
